Guild Wars 2

Over the past few months I have had trouble launching the game. Most of the time the game plays just fine, however there have been some issues. on occasion, I will successfully log in, however after I hit “play” the client will either crash or I will be left with a black screen and only the HOT soundtrack in the background. Since the last update I can no longer play the game. after I log in and hit play the client either crashes, or I get the black screen with music in the background. I tried the -repair trick and have had no success. I thought that I might be able to uninstall and re-install the game, but when I try to re-install the launch page tells me that I have no internet connection. I am pretty lost, and would appreciate any help. Thanks!

If you weren’t using the 64-bit client before, you could try reverting to the 32-bit client, just to see if you can then log in. Instructions found in the Sticky above.
