I keep getting the following error.

“Network erro. The inability to connect to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by Internet routing issues or a server network failure.

If the problem persists, please visit our support website. (Code=5:11:3:159:101)

The game has always worked perfectly up until now.

I just got that this morning when trying to zone from malchor’s leap into southsun cove. I had to go to work, but when I get home if it’s not working, I plan on restarting my modem and router, since this error points toward packet loss from what I could quickly Google at the time. Might be on anet’s side, maybe Comcast, maybe me, we’ll see later today.

The odd thing is that I am able to make it to the character select. It is only after I select a character and try to enter the world that I crash and get that error.

Yeah, I tried a couple times and two times it wouldn’t load the client, the other two I got to character select, then crashed when I tried to zone in.

I have the same… I just wanted to point out that I am on Comcast as well like xvalkyrie. It seems that they are having some problems on the east coast:

Same here. I’ve gotten a few different errors this morning. The most fun being that the server was “unable to authenticate my gameplay privileges”, and then it logged me in to the character select screen anyway.

And then promptly crashed.

But mainly, I get “unable to connect to login server” or “network error”.

Edited to mention – Oh yeah, I’m on Comcast, too.

Hm, are we all on Comcast? I’m in Atlanta, which is a big red blurb on that map right now. Lol. Oh well, hopefully it’s fixed when I get home.

+1 for Atlanta. However I’m able to do just about everything on the internet BUT gw2. I’m getting an authentication error on login.

Same problem. Also on east coast (Northwest Georgia) and Xfinity. Took me about 10 tries to even get on the guild wars 2 website, and it’s just guild wars 2. Everything else works fine.
