New player returning and having some issues with the game loading. It loads every few days without issue, but most of the time I make it to the login screen then hit play and see the game icon for about 2 secs on my taskbar and then it disappears. I’ve tried the “- repair” shortcut fix multiple times, deleted the .dat file multiple times (this helped twice, but not always a fix) and have set my Nvidia control panel to Manage 3D Setting>program settings>GW2-64.exe>high performance processor and prefer maximum performance on power management mode. Still I can log in with no issue about 25% of the time, otherwise I walk away for 5 hours try again and sometimes it works.

Still happening..I’ll play the game for 4 or more hours without issue. When I shut it down and try to start it again..even if it’s 1 minute later, it fails to launch. Just the icon on the task bar for 2-3 seconds and then it fails. No crash log that I can see.

This happens whether it patches or not. I’ve reinstalled over 10 times n the past 2 weeks and it doesn’t fix the sporadic launching.

Start the game up with the commandline /clientport 80,maybe its a connectivity issue or the client being blocked somehow by antivirus/firewall ?
