Guild Wars 2

I start the launcher and it theres a brief empty bar then it just goes to 100% and lets me play

but of course ingame everything I do tells me that GW2 has been updated restart the client

either patch hasnt been released yet, or update servers are down.

Having same issue here. When I try to enter pvp or wvwvw the game says that gw2 has been updated and to exit the client. When I restart the client it does not begin downloading the update at all.

Its gw2, they always Kitten up something.

I cant seem to log in, loading LA for 5 minutes now :s

I’m having the same issue. Game worked fine before patch. update 3 tries and finally updated but I get in game I get crash report again.. someone messed something up

I’m having this same issue now, is there anything I, the customer, can do?

I am unable to play as well. The client crashes without updating or even reaching the login screen every time I start it.

I keep getting connection error every time I start up the client, I got it to path for about five minutes and now its been giving me the connection error for the past hour.

I guess I have same issue too because game launcher is doing nothing for new patch. This is not first time when this happen for me.

Having the same issue. Have GW2 installed on 2 computers. The one I was playing WHEN the patch hit will not get past the splash screen. The other that has not been in game in a couple days d/l’d the new patch and worked like normal. Odd.

The computer having issues also never saw a message or anything indicating a new patch had landed. I just had to assume so based on what other people were saying and the fact that no more pvp servers were showing up and I was getting errors saying my world was full. Restarted the game in attempt to fix the error and get pvp servers to show and hasn’t worked since.

Rolled back GPU drivers and it fixed the issue.
Cancel that. The problem was that I had moved the Guild Wars 2 directory from /Program Files(x86) to C:\ for use with enb. I had to move it back to get it to patch. Should be able to move it back to C:\ til next patch though. Just updating in case others are having issues.

You should be able to keep your installation at C:\ instead of in Program Files and it still be able to update normally as long as you make sure that you have the Gw2.exe file or the game shortcut you use to run the game set to ‘Run As Administrator’ in its Properties > Compatibility tab.

Same problem here, since last update I can’t start the launcher, it just won’t update, doesn’t get past the 0kb.
