Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!

Ive been having the same issue for about a year now, I couldnt find a solution a while back gave up and uninstalled for a while. I just moved and set up my computer finally and wanted to play again so im trying to install / download / log in.

When i double click on GW2 client it launches and a big white square box pops up my, sorta like my Comp is having a hard time launching the client.

Then when it finally gets loaded and opens, it never downloads….

I try to log in and it says:

Build: 47388
errorr: 420:0:9001:4410

client is un able to gain access to log in server at this time.

firewall settings… router.. yadda tyadda yadda.

i tried :
Hide my IP
resetting my router
being on 3 different Internets
turning on / off my firewalls
dat files
repair gw 2

its just annoying,

It originally happened once after a patch update and i tried to log on and it wouldn’t let me i assumed then it was to many people trying to log on at once… that was about a year ago.

any suggestions would help.

Some questions :
- Have you installed into the “programs” folder ? If so move installation to somewhere
else like for example “c:\games\gw2”
- do you run GW2 as administrator ? If not try it.
- do you use another firewall than the windows firewall ? If so deinstall it and try with
windows firefall.

More information about your hard and software of course would help.

i tried all of these and no dice, thanks for responding!

It seems every time i launch gw2 it like laggs and doesn’t respond. My computer CAN handle the game, so i know its not like my CPU goes to high and cant launch, seems more like a glitch or something.. but every time i uninstall and re install no dice too…

i just want to play the gamez but honestly about to give up and go play LOL or something.
