I am thinking of getting a new mouse… i saw the G11 is so cool but i dont know which one to get to suit my needs….

iam using the Razer Salmosa is working great but is getting old :O like 3 years already..

i want to get a new mouse but i want it to suit my needs just like my Razer Salmosa did..

I want a good control over it, not feeling like its going to fly off my hand anytime..

I want a good feel of the button not click click click very annoying…

i dont mind having a few number buttons on it so i can do some fast attack on the mouse but not on the keyboard.

They are bad*ss, the most customizable mouse around, and it doesnt have to many buttons. .it has ‘enough’. Very high quality aswell .lots of metal

Its made by a company called MadCatz ..who also do the most bad*ss keyboard you will ever see ..the Cyborge S.T.R.I.K.E 7 gaming keyboard… ..but that costs …brace yoruself .. £250

what the hell it looks like a robot mouse ._. what i have seen on the video in youtube most say is feel cheap… it does look like it will slip off my hand…

Aye it may look odd. But if you read customer reviews on sites like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ ..people have said despite its looks ..its very comfy.

And if you find proper review youtube vids, you can see how much metal is in this mouse. granted metal does not always = quality ..but in a mouse like this ..it has to be quality with all the moving parts.

Also if you use the pinky rest (the large one) ..along wiht the attached stock thumb rest ..it would be next to impossible for it to fly out from you hand .

Yea the RAT 9 is cordless ..i pref wired myself ..and has a few less button on the thumb rest ….compared ot the MMO 7 which is wired and has extra thumb buttons.

The only other difference which im actually not to sure on myself ..is the thumb rest adjustment ..the RAT 9 alows it to rotate outwards away form the mouse ..the RAT 7 MMO also seems ot have this but it doesnt look like it locks in place like the RAT 9 ..you’d have to research this yourself.

I dont really trust the Razer product anymore not after the razer keyboard lycosa it sucks ._. the button feels like its made of stone is so hard to press….. pff $100 bucks

end up changing it after a year…. finger hurts like hell!!

i guess i will give the Rat 9 a shot then…

i think the Rat 9 is still better ._. naga looks too hard to use for the thumb… if i try to use those button my mouse will most likely to mess with me or end up lifting up the mouse to use those buttons…..

Well, my friend has one and I didn’t like it a bit due the top surface is too flat for my palm. I love my SS Sensei mouse shape and the G5 but G5 is big and less control the bigger the mouse is (less clawing).

That’s just my preferences. This is like finding a computer chair that fits you.

i was searching in the forum at overclock.net….. it seems the Rat 9 has a laser sener problem…..pff dropping it now

looking at the naga seems more promiseing then rat 9 now… after all it has the same size as the salmosa might be a idea mouse for me

Do remember forums will always have more people complaining about somthing than praising ..Also there are 2 types of issues. Faults ..and Desgin flaws.

I beleve the RAT9 issue your talking about is a common fault ..which you should asume you wont get ..if you do its a simple case of getitng it replaced by MadCatz.

Same goes for any other product tbh.

The naga series i personal dont like the look or shape of ..that being a design flaw imo. The build quality could also be called into question since its like alot of regualr mouses ..i.e made from plastic with fancy raised designs on it that can ware of over time and look horrible. My logitech G5 mouse has started doing that..ill be buyigna new mouse soon and ill likely get a Rat ..probably the MMO 7 ..possibly the 9 ..though i usualy stick to wired mouses.

which is why the wireless one is giving problems Naga only last for a few hour befor it needs to charge again but at least the Rat 9 has a swaping batties system on it >.< aaaaa so hard to choose!

I didn’t read all the replys, probably someone talked about this mouse before but, I would go for:

Razer Naga ( there are a lot of editions, I use the Molten Edition )

Couldn’t be better, AMAZING looking mouse, its so soft, so perfect, you can create a bilion of keybindings on it, do all your DPS rotations on your mouse without having to use your keyboard, ofc its amazing to use your keyboard, but sometimes its much better to use keyboard just to move 100% perfectly without “stumble” your fingers.

Everyone have their likes/dislikes.

My vote goes for – RAZER NAGA (Molten Edition)

btw, there are some Molten Edition versions on the internet without the Razer Naga Logo on it, for the original version you better check in the official website.
