I don’t think posting here is going to achieve anything. Nvidia will have created the list out of popular games, rather than out of any kind of endorsement. They will also have executed the testing themselves. I doubt Arenanet has anything to do with it.
Your time would be better spent contacting Nvidia about it. I’m not really sure what you could achieve through any kind of discussion with the forum community?

I don’t know where that site gets it stats from, I looked at it, I use a Samsung 27" @ 1440p and I use an old 680GTX, and it runs this game on high settings across the board without any issues, yet the site told me I needed a 960GTX or a 780Ti card.
Also what the site is saying maybe true, the card it recommends may indeed run GW2 at your res at high setting no problem, but GW2 also requires stupid amounts of CPU power, this has been shown time and time again, that you can have a powerful GPU but if your CPU is behind, the performance of the game will suffer, no matter how strong your GPU is.

Hello,
Lately the preconfigured One Click Here options for drivers seem quite popular and perhaps even effective for most games.
Popular? Yes. Effective? Not at all.
They claim that at the 1080P level Maximum Settings can be achieved with a minum of 40 fps or greater with a GTX 950. This is not only untrue but completely misleading to the potential consumer market & my main reason for attempting a discussion here within our online community.
It’s not untrue. A GTX 950 can probably run the game on max settings at 1080p while keeping over 40FPS if it wasn’t held back by the CPU. And if some of the ingame settings weren’t so terribly optimized.
At the end of the day, you’ll get what you put in to things like this.
1 click configure? Ok but you’re not going to get great results.

It’s completely untrue. It cannot be done with even a GTX 980.
I have one and cannot max all settings with a playable frame rate in any real circumstance. Not gonna happen. Impossible. Never has been. It’s irrational to think otherwise.
My goodness.

While I have no experience in the card you mentioned ;
I run 780 standard reference cooler(no oc), 5820k (oc-3.6ghz), 4k res(3840×2160) max settings (except shadows. That’s on high), smaa high, 30fps in cities, 30-50fps in pve(core), 20-30fps in pve(hot), 40fps in pvp matches, 100 man zerg fights WvW 20fps. Geforce are capable of far more than prescribed by advised stats.

You’re fooling yourself if you think its the GPU that’s unable to pull +40fps in gw2 with max settings. Gw2 is rather light on GPUs.
The bottleneck is elsewhere, in the CPU.
Again, the only point in this thread is Maximum settings argument.
Maximum means all, every last settings. Not just ‘high.’
I have GTX 950. No, I can not play this game with all settings (everything on max.-all options on) on 40fps + by world boss fights. If I understand you right, your point is in misleading NVIDIA claims.Personally I’m not disappointed or angry because of that, on average, let’s say 80% of the time it does offer high fps. Some time ago I have made a video, not focused on performance, but you can get a glimpse of GTX950 & Gw2 ( https://youtu.be/JAL1MV4Rk8U?t=9s ).
Please delete this kittening entire thread. I’m just not thinking well at this time.
