Guild Wars 2

So I have been trying to purchase some gems through your in game store, but no matter what, it doesn’t seem to want to take. When I use a credit card, it lets me put in all of my information, but when I confirm the purchase a red bar comes up at the top and just says “Failed”.

I tried to use Paypal as well, but when I confirm the purchase, instead of taking me to the Paypal website, it just pops up a red banner that says “Authentication Failure” I am living overseas at the moment so purchasing a card at a store (other than to have it shipped all the way over here) isn’t an option for me.

What can I do about buying gems?

No, sending a report through the in-game report system will not give you a response.

Note that on occasion those support links on the website do toss up an error message and this is a cause of concern if you are experiencing an account problem. The fact that errors do popup shouldn’t simply be dismissed or discounted. I’ve seen this problem during the early morning hours in the US, East Coast time rather than our prime time.
