CPU and GPU ups and downs are widely debated (sometimes with heat) on these forums!

The specifications you list are very good for playing GW2 and, I imagine you will be able to play GW2 at very high or ultra settings with a good FPS. I cannot say with any authority what sort of FPS you will get with such a rig though.

No rig in my sig? Only posted if needed!

Not right now. I got low FPS with GTX 680 which is 3-4% better than the card you are buying.

In theory, the specs you post should run GW2 very well. In reality, it’s hard to say. There are a lot of little factors in how your computer is setup (software, drivers, settings, etc) that can and will have a huge effect on your computer’s gaming performance.

If you’re willing to take the time to make sure things are properly setup, you’ll probably have a good experience.

It looks like you’re going all out why not grab a top of the line Sata III SSD… get two in fact and Raid-0 them!

Get rid of the AMD card and get yourself a GTX 690.
If money is an issue then fine. But if it isn’t, get a GTX690. It absolutely destroys any AMD card.

Also, it’s worth noting, if you want frame rates above 60fps, you will need an 120mhz monitor. Otherwise any fps rates you are getting above 60 are pointless, as your monitor cannot physically draw them that quickly, which is what screen tearing is.

2 x GTX 680 SLI / 512GB SSD / 2TB HDD / Win 7
