Same here. Lost 4g when I tried to buy an exotic Focus yesterday night. Lost the money, never received the item. Hope I will get that back.

Over 30 posts in the past 16 hours.. 2 posts an hour, none suspected of hacking seems like an issue to me.

During the Trading post problems I’m also missing all the money from the items I sold, 20-30 items. Perhaps more (but not less), not sure since I don’t keep perfect track of all the items. I do know for a fact though the 20-30 items I put on the TP were showing as selling but no money was coming in to receive and then the trading post went down and up and down and up…. and still have no money 20hours later. I’m thinking I’m also missing around 50s from my inventory but I’m not 100% sure. Tried to buy 3 items for ~15 silver each and they never went through. I have no items in my inventory and I’m almost certain that there is around a 50s difference.

edited – Just found out where the missing 50s was (tied up in a order request) so I did not lose that but I still have not received the money for the sold items.

Missing 1.5g after attempting to exchange it for gems last night and failing. No gems and no gold.

While I was playing, I noticed some minutes ago that I just lost 2 gold without any reason! BLTC is out, where could I spend that much?! I haven’t logged out for like 4 hours… #120920-005125

Since yesterday night right when the Trading post was back online, I try to remove some stuff that I was trying to buy when I look in my pick up folder there was nothing.. not a gold at all. total gold was taken was about 8-10gold, about 7-8gold is left on my account. So I didn’t care much about it since awhile back the trading post was like that also and I got my gold return to me, after that I went to the gems store and try to buy gems. When I try to buy some gems whice is about 450gems I press accept and it said failer, So I’m guessing it was nothing big since my gold was still on my account. So I keep on trying to buy more gems, I even log onto my other account and try to buy gems also until trading post went onto maintenance. I didn’t worry much until today when gold on both of my account start to disappear, gold went missing from my lower lvl account and my mian account was about 6-7gold total or maybe more who know, from what I’m guessing I have bought all those gems that I was trying to buy. That really awsome since I didn’t need that much, and I can’t even trade it back for the same value that my gold are worths. Notes* have not received gems or gold back from trading post or anywhere.

I log in today to found out that trading post is back up and running… When I check my pickup tab, there was only about 2gold 60sliver 77copper. my total gold atm would add up to be 5gold or a little above 6gold, and worst of all im lost about 13gold on mian account about 3-4gold on my other account from just trying to buy gems when trading post was about to go down that other two day ago. Worst thing about it is that when i check on how many gems I have bought, since I clicked on trade gold for gem so many time. On both account I was still missing gold and have not received any gem or my gold that I lost from the trading post, by just trying to remove what I was trying to buy. Please tell everyone somthing on how we are going to get our gem or golds back. SINCE YOU KNOW HOW HARD IS IT TO FARM 15GOLD PLUS IN THIS GAME.

I was attempting to buy 800 gems yesterday which worked out to a little over 3 gold. I tried several times getting errors and decided to just wait until another day. Today i log on and after playing for a while i suddenly realize i’m missing 3 gold. Since everything is down i can’t check if it actually gave me the gems or the gold just went poof.

Edit: Gem Store is up but i did not get my 800 gems and my gold is still gone.

Trading post is back up. Some items that I took down from sale are still missing.

I am having a similar problem with the Trading Post even though it is back up. Yesterday I had about 4G 10S. I tried to buy a couple dyes from the TP, but none of my Buy bids were taken and no gold was taken from my bags. I log in this evening and I only have 50S! To top it off, the "Items I’ve Bought " tab shows I bought five dyes for about 35S, but I only received two! So I am missing 3G 50S and a couple dyes I bought but never received!

I simply removed the offers i had up yesterday and did not get my gold back.

Yeah same here, the dragonic boots i placed yesterday got placed 3 times i believe, then trading post came down and i only saw 1 order for it for 1.5gold but i was missing 4.5 gold. I removed it from list but no money return. Now that the trading post back up it still isn’t back so i basically lost 4.5 gold still. Fix the trading post please

Here is the issue . When the trading post was not letting people buy for what ever reason . I tried to buy a few things . Now that the tp is back up after being down for over 24 hours . The gold I had on my char Is now gone . So i am missing 14 gold not a happy camper. Now I am broke andkitten . I was not hacked i have all my items exotics etc . Where do I need to file this under to get my gold back in a timely matter

I got the same issue, though it’s my first time in need of support and I sent a ticket…

I had about 3g yesterday, tried to buy some mats (Orichalcum Greatsword Hilt & Blade) for a little over 2g, I got an error message saying the item couldn’t be found and to refresh and try again. For both items.

So it wasn’t working, okay, I’d just buy it later. But today when I logged I noticed I was down to 80s only, and wondering where did my gold go…

Just when I read in chat that the TP was back and I was “Now I’m getting my Exotic Weapon!” and… no, not anymore >_<

Still no exchanged gems or gold (Incident: 120920-004967).

It would be nice to hear from Gaile on whether the “live team is on the case” as she stated on page 1 or if all of these very similar stories are still being attributed to “hacking.”

Thought that I might get my gold back.. Nope.. Still nothing. How do I go from 35 gold to 2 gold. This is so infuriating!

I’d like to confirm that I received 24 silver from TP while it was still down, however I believe I’m still down nearly 80 silver or more still.

Just lost 13 (ish) gold from a bug not long ago (within past 3 hours) :/ Please fix and help us!

I have not received my 3g from canceled transactions nor the 18 items that show in my “Items that I’ve Purchased” tab from yesterday.

I put a ticket in but hopefully the TP system just backed up causing delays… not a happy camper right now.

I still haven’t received my 25+ gold worth of cancelled orders either nor do they show in the item’s I am buying tab as well.

Out of pocket 20-30 gold. Cancelled buy orders yesterday during the time the TP was up.

Before the TP went down for maintenance yesterday, I tried purchasing an Opal Orichalcum Amulet of the Explorer, as well as several buy orders for Orichalcum Ore – 200 at 1s 80c per unit, about 3g 85s or so.

The TP was not accepting my buy orders (or—as it turns out, was accepting them EXTREMELY slowly), so I gave up and moved on. A few storyline quests later I noticed I had 70 silver — what gives? Oh, the buy orders must have finally gone through. Try to check the TP but its down.

Log out, come back on, check TP, still down. Log out, come back on, check TP, it’s up. My orders are gone, and in my “Items I’ve Bought” I have that Opal necklace…only I never claimed it, and it was nowhere to be found on my “pick up” window. You can track that last bit fairly easily, I believe.

I never logged out of my character before my cash disappeared. I clearly wasn’t hacked, and I clearly didn’t “reallocate” gold.

This is a problem. Thanks in advance for your efforts!

The post by John Smith doesn’t help. My 32 gold is still lost even after the TP is back up…

I have no idea how the coding for trading post works but im seeing people saying they sold Glob of ectoplasm and don’t have any gold in pick up despite the item being taken. While my issue is i bought globs of ecto had my money taken and no globs to pick up. So my guess is that while the tp was in its up/down phase when it came up and people bought stuff from it Ectos for example Me as player A bought Ecto from player B on the trading post the TP received this code and took the money from my inventory and the glob of ecto that player B had posted but never sent the code that would Send the money to player B to be picked up and never sent the ecto for me to pick up. Similar thing most likely happened with people cancelling buy orders/sell orders the tp recieved the code to cancel these but never did the code to send back the money/item to the player. Now like i said im not saying the tp works with codes like that but its just a guess as to what has happened i doubt it has anything to do with a delay and arenanet needs to actually look into the issue and manually fix it.

This has happened to me as well, see the item in the “Items I’ve bought” tab, but never got to pick it up.

Yep – TP is back, everything I was selling is gone, everything that I was buying is gone as well.

Tested out by selling something small and received the money instantaneously, so it looks like for those with nothing to pick up, will remain that way.

Ok, so all the GW2 staff has said, is that “Its not an issue on there end….” Yet there is 100s of people with this EXACT problem “Me included.” The Trading Post has been down for almost 2 days straight now… So your saying 100s of people where hacked ? Well if that is the case, Then that means YOUR servers have been compromised, because theres no way 100s of people are hacked out of the blue, unless it was your servers that where hacked. So… Our possibilies are: A. Someone hacked ArenaNet Servers, and stole our info / and thusly robbed our accounts, or B. The TP Glitched up and stole all our money… Worst part is only response we can get is “Its not our fault its yours!”… Ya sure

so, Trading post is Back up, All my money still gone… YAY!….

more tahn 40 gold missing here, i order orichalc yesterday and 27 gold dissapeared, no items no gold back and i sold many items for like 20 gold and the items were sold and 0 gold in the trading post, i invested my time and money in jewels in this game am very upset over 40 gold missing 0 answers and the trading post is back, sorry for my english am from south america

I just tried to place 2 custom orders for about 75 silver each on the AH. Now I’m missing about 1.5 gold. What’s going on?! =(

I logged in today to find out 17g had disappeared from my inventory. I had 20g in there when I logged out yesterday and 3g now..
Trading post activity shows nothing sold nothing bought.

Yesterday(9/19/2012) the black lion market was very buggy, it was up for a little while, I could browse items but could not buy any of them, every time I tried to buy something it would take about 10-20 seconds before saying “Sorry, your request could not be match” or something close to that, And I wouldn’t receive any of my items or lose any of my gold. So, I’m thinking no big deal, that’s fine, I’ll just wait for it to come up, And log off shortly afterwords with all my gold intact something like almost 21gold. This morning(9/20/2012) I wake up, log on and see that I only have 6 gold. This mean’s I likely wasn’t hacked and I’m guessing it eventually spent all the money I was trying to spend at the black lion market. I worked really hard for that gold and put in a lot of hours.. Please help.

Logged in on the 20th and noticed I was missing close to 6g. I suspect it is from failed gem transactions from the 19th.

Past few days the BLTC was buggy as we all know. Right before it was closed to maintenance many people attempted to buy items but were given a message stating there were no more available. I lost gold for items that I tried buying and in my transaction history under “items bought” tab I see a few duplicates of items I tried to buy however I have yet to receive any of them. How long will they be held before the maintenance team sends them before we should be worried we may not receive them and lose out on gold?

This is definitely an in-game problem seeing other people loss their gold. I also have 9g suddenly vanished on 19th/20th Sep when my TP was finally restored. It might be because I kept trying to exchange for gems or buying items when the TP kept having error and orders were stuck.
However I did not get any additional gems nor items, please check my account transactions or fix my loss of gold. I already sent a ticket, thank you.

Almost 12 hours later, and I’m still down13 gold. Please help us.

I put in a ticket Yesterday and there is no log on anything on the trade post nothing in my pick up window . Does not even say I bought anything reason being it would not let me buy anything . So if two days ago It was timing out when people were trying to buy stuff and all of a sudden it comes back up and my 14 gold is gone from my inventory . Then that is a issue on your end not ours. I understand these things take time but it would be nice for some body from arena net to update this post and let us know there working on the issue at hand . As of right now I have no desire to play the game. I mean who wants to play the game with no money on there chars being that I have 2 lv 80s and all cant even afford to repair if i die a few times

If the response is actually going to be: “Unfortunately, the Guild Wars Support Team is unable to provide items that were not received or lost due to in-game bugs," then it would be nice to know when we can expect these bugs to occur. Otherwise, I would expect a warning on TP that precedes every transaction and warns of this slot-machine mechanic where every click is a gamble.

up date after canceling a 2g75 s bid i had. not only did it return my bid but the rest of the gold that was missing . So
if you guys have any bids up try removing them and see if the rest of the gold comes back

Got my 26 gold not missing from invent but missing from the pick up.

Got nothing, no items or gold back, i accidentely bought way to many items as i had to refresh and try again, because it said there wasnt a match in current listen, thats been like 2 days ago? Still NOTHING. I reported it as a bug, but yeah kinda anoying you dont get a confirmation about recieving it, it feels like they just dont care.

Thats the problem Mooshke they DON’T CARE, they have already said That this is all OUR FAULTS, and that they are in no way to blame for this, and that no matter what they WILL NOT return our gold… So if you think your going to get anything back, you won’t they say they won’t give you crap back.

They have yet to respond to my ticket, all my issues occurred on Weds evening during the 40 odd minutes the TP came online. After several failed attempts to buy my Exotic Bow with a response of “Sorry…please refresh” I decided to Bid for the Bow instead. (2G 75 Silver)

I then sold of my Mats from Inventory as usual, when I went to the Pickup screen…nada. Cant be sure but it was a fair amount by my standards. 75 Silver-1 or so Gold.

So, following morning (Thursday) I log in to see if its up and the TP is still down and still showing 0 cash in pickup. All good when its up I will get my money, cant really spend it with the market down anyways.

Then I notice my Gold is down from my 3G50S at log Weds to 75 Silver…the Value of the Bid…. but no Bow. Market comes back up, still nothing…

I am most frustrated by the lack of response to the ticket.

Sarlack that is almost exactly my same problem, The TP came back up, Im like oh ya I can buy stuff now, Put in about an 8g order, It then comes back and says my order didn’t match what they had or something, Then I check my pick-up, nothing there, But my moneys fine. I go to bed, Wake up, and ALL my moneys gone, TP is down, and nothing is waiting in pick-up. To this moment, I still have had NO RESPONSE from support and my money is STILL GONE. I think they realized they made a huge mistake, and don’t know ho wto fix it, so they just ignore it… The support for this game is by far the WORST I have EVER SEEN on any game I have played, and believe you me I have played alot, Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Wolfenstein 3D… ya thats when I started gaming.

Worst part is, they keep saying we must have gotten ourselves hacked…. Even put out a big article on security from hackers “https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/mike-obrien-on-account-security/” Who wants to bet that they got compromised, and try to spin it of like we got ourselves hacked, and its not there fault…. 90% chance that GW2 servers where compromised, and thats what happened if we did get hacked. No way 1000s of people get hacked at he EXACT SAME TIME, and its not there fault its ours… GET REAL!

Has anyone got a response from a support ticket about this matter yet ? IF you do get a response, please share, as They seem to be ignoring the entire playerbase currently.
