Guild Wars 2

So My boyfriend and I both play guild wars on the same computer and have the exact same settings but on different user accounts. My graphics are all fudged up and his are clear. If I play on my GW account on his user account it shows up fine. I have no idea how to fix this and have exhausted my limited troubleshooting expertise. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you windows user account graphic settings the same as what he has set on his windows user account? Not you games settings the computer settings from what i get from your posting is that you use to different windows accounts on the same computer

I feel really stupid, but I don’t know how to get to that. Not sure I’ve messed with it at all, know he hasn’t messed with his. I assumed control panel so I’d been looking in Appearance and Personalization when we first noticed the problem but I haven’t seen anything that looked like it could fix it at all

Ok I have NO idea how this worked, but I changed the resolution from 1440×900 to 1280×1040 and it cleared up, I was so surprised it worked that I never told it to keep the new setting and when it reverted back it was still clear. So it’s working for now, but I’m even more confused than I was.

First thing’s first, what do you mean you have 2 accounts, but you play your account on his account? GuildWars 2 does not have a “buddy” account system, so I’m a little confused there, BUT, for your issue, log onto YOUR account, get ingame on your primary character you have the issue with, press Escape, go to your graphic settings, and click on the High preset and click Confirm or whatever at the bottom. See if things start to look how they should.

I have two windows accounts, and two guild wars accounts
And When it’s doing its glitchy thing, I’ve tried the high preset, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried having my settings to exactly what his are, and that doesn’t work either.

Ok that makes sense then, any luck with the ingame settings?
