Guild Wars 2

Hey all,

I just wanted to make a separate post about the game loading as grey windowed screen after patching and logging in.

I also used “window -> full screen” but I get seem to get a black screen with a GW pointer /GW hand.

Also, if it helps in diagnostics: my guildies say that I’m showing as fully logged into my character (not just my account), even though I haven’t yet gotten to the character select screen. Huh.

Same here. Literally just purchased, spent several hours downloading. Got to play for about five minutes before being booted off for the patch.

I too am having this issue. After the wait for the update to connect, I’m a bit disappointed.

This was the first time I ever got to play and it was for only 15 minutes. I am quite peeved.

Same here, Kevin. “Window” → “Full Screen” is all black with the hand icon as the pointer. No luck

anyone know how long it usually takes them to fix these things? i’m new to the game so i’m a bit curious… >_>

Looks like Keeping the window open wont save us now.

I’m also having the same problem.

Does anyone else experience, when it first opens the Guild Wars 2 client, your screen becomes more saturated? Almost darker, and if you click back onto your desktop, it becomes the normal color again?

same white screen problem, anyone have any idea as to how long it will take for them to realize there is a problem?

Might not be until tommorow I know the devs were saying they were gunna pvp after the patch came out so they prolly wont check the forums till then.

Hey. I know the issue. After trying to load it up after “logging in” on the launcher a few times, I noticed a red box above the ad for Winter event. Apparently, GW2 determined that I would have poor gameplay if I was under 10.7 (lion, right?)….I’m running on Snow Leopard and I play the game just fine on low-ish graphics but I’m wondering if I won’t be able to play the game ever again? Whats happening?

that would be seriously disappointing… they should make sure it works before letting it alone… making me doubt whether it was a good choice to have switched… >_>

This prolly just shows their intention of never bringing the mac client out of beta.
