Guild Wars 2

Ever since the new update “Flame and Frost Prelude” (Epic by the way) Guild wars 2 has been crashing and giving me the same error “A fatal error has occured and GW2 needs to close”

I have sent multiple error reports to Anet but its still glitched
is their a fix or will this be fixed in the next patch?

In your documents folder, there is a Guild Wars 2 folder, in that folder there is a file ArenaNet.log. Check that file (and you might even want to post the contents of that file in a spoiler tag on here), and hopefully that will give you some idea as to what might be causing the crash.

My guess is, that since it’s not everyone, it’s a conflict between the client and something running on your machine (a driver, another program in the background, etc.). Post some of the information about your machine (video card, memory, OS version, etc.) and maybe others here can help determine what might be happening.

I have run the repair and logged error report.

If you have run the repair, and it’s still not working, as a last ditch effort, you could try reinstalling the game. I know it’s not the preferred solution, but the log file is indicating that you have a corrupt file in the archive. If the repair isn’t fixing it, then the only other way I can see to fix it, is to force it to repatch by reinstalling.

Every single night. Lags and crash. Not fun Anet.
