Hello, hello!
So today I turned on my computer to play GW2 and saw an odd glitch with my Shortcut icon. Instead of the red “2” the shortcut icon it was a white file icon with what looks like an old Windows XP rectangle and six squares. I then go to the source file for GW2 [Program Files (x86) > Guild Wars 2] and I see that the Gw2.exe icon is exactly like the aforementioned but with a small lock in the bottom left. Also, whenever I try to remake a shortcut for Gw2.exe inside it’s own folder I get a prompt that says “Windows can’t create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?” It then creates it on the desktop.
It may be noted that this was just a few days after re-installing the game via the physical Collector’s Edition (Rytlock couldn’t help me, by the way.
He just stood on my shelf.).
