Guild Wars 2

Basically my OS was corrupted a few days ago, so I when I used the re-installation disc, it gave the option to have my personal files saved, so I did. But unfortunately that didn’t really work, so then I got rid of every trace of guild wars 2 and tried to reinstall. It would download about 10000kb and then stop and go to "Downloading 0KB/(0KB/sec). Then it would close. Then I tried removing everything gw2 related again and then I copied the game from my other computer and it still doesn’t work. Please help!

I am having this persons exact problem and yet my video card drivers are up to date Except in my case I had no OS corruption… but I get to 10000kb and then my launcher freezes and times out at a new 0kb just like the above poster.

I just had this problem as well though mind you I’m on windows 10 tech preview, but for me updating .Net fixed it maybe somehow your .Net got corrupted, if I had a penny for each time I’ve had problems where games first ask to repair my .Net, maybe guildwars installer is missing this check ? i dunno, but it’s something to try :-)
