Hello,

I have reinstalled my windows 7 64-bits, due to some technical issues. After setting everything up, which is downloading the drivers, patching the system, and instaling an antivirus program(NOD 32), my guild wars 2 instalation process will not proceed after the initial download. One pop up window appears, starts downloading basic sets, and then another one is visible for a brief second, then it disapears.

I have done some fixes, such as:
-Running the pc in diagnostic mode, failed to open.
-Turning off the firewall, and antivirus, failed to open.
-I have updated my windows 7, nothing changed.
-I have added -repair, -client80, at the end of target line, none of the acctions happened
-tried: netsh winsock show catalog >C:\LSP.txt, did not help.
-reinstalled drivers, helped.

If needed, i will provide you with more information, I hope this problem can be fixed, with your help.

Have you tried running the game as an admin,

Right click the exe>properties>compatibility>then select run this program as an admin

Reinstalled my video card’s drivers to the previous ones and it did help, had to run a ‘-repair’ though. FIXED
