My computer suddenly crashes and my monitor only shows no signal. The only way I can get back on my computer is if I shut it down completely and turn it back on again. While the screen is black I can still hear my computer running, but I can’t tell if it’s being unresponsive or anything. For some reason it’s only guild wars that does this to my computer. I can play any other game such as, the division, witcher 3, Tera,Blade and Soul, fine without crashing my computer. And also for some reason it only happens at important times such as when I’m playing with my friends doing fractals, tequatl, and most recently capturing the guild hall.
You should look up the crash logs from GW2 and see if the game is indeed crashing,
It sounds like your GFX driver might be crashing, causing the black screen, I get this sometimes, but usually windows can recover it, and it just gives me an error.
Have you tried updating GFX drivers etc.
