Guild Wars 2

i know this sounds weird but when i run guild wars 2 for about 1 hour it disconnects my router for about 1 minutes then the connection comes back. i know for fact that guild wars 2 is causing this because this only happens when i’m running the game, i can have vent, steam, or any other online game running for hours without my router being affected at all. i called my internet provider and they say there is no issue from their part, i also got a electric technician to check the wires in my apartment but he said there were also no issues. and actually, i haven’t been playing guild wars 2 for the past 3 weeks because i had nothing to do ingame and my internet never disconnected for the whole time , but i decided to log in today to try the new content and after 1 hour of gameplay the router crashes again for a minute and blocks all internet access.

update the firmware of your router, or better yet use dd-wrt
disable SPI feature if you can on router it might help

get a router that can run ddwrt or tomato rather then the crappy factory firmware, you can find decent ones for under 20bucks, really great ones for under 40.
