Guild Wars 2

hey i just purchased the standard HoT pack, i got the email and have been trying to register the serial code on the arenanet page. I’ve tried my login details and serial # time and time again but it says “password not available, either you…” I’m confused I’m using the same login details as my original Gw2 and arenanet site but its still not registering. Plz help I’ve been waiting forever for HoT

“That password is not available. Either you’ve used it before, someone else has used it before, or it’s known to have been hacked from another game or web site. Please choose a new, unique password for your ArenaNet account. We recommend creating a new password by choosing four random, unrelated words, as shown in this comic strip.”

then i change the password and this comes up “We were unable to register an account using the information provided. Please check your information and try again.” some1 plz help I’m using an iMac, i dot want to register a new account and have to start from scratch. Plz Anet

I had to get guild help for this. Make sure you are logging into your anet account on the forum. The little login on the upper right hand of the screen. Do not try and use that big account, password etc that covers a big chunk of the page. That is not for upgrades to existing accounts. Anet ’s instructions on this were poorly done. Most of us have little reason to log in unless we are very active on the forums.
