Guild Wars 2

Ok so this is what has happened.
I go and link my guild wars 2 to my guild wars 1 account.
Everything seems to kitten, and once I clicked link accounts, it kicks me over to my guild wars 1 account logged in, and it says "Congratulations! You have successfully linked….. " (full quotes at bottom of thread) and that both my accounts will be using the same email from now on. When I go and log in using the new email (which was my gw1 email) into guild wars 2 it says there no serial number to the account. And I still can log into my old (guild wars 2 email) with that same email but something did change my “Guild.1234” thing has changed into something like “XDFA5562XXD-AASDFFSDW41.1234” that is reflected on my Guild Wars 1 Login display name (as in on guildwars2.com) on my Guild Wars 2 In game (actually in game), but my guild wars 2 login display name still reflects the normal “Guild.1234”

The following Guild Wars 2 account information will now be used to log in to both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2: "

I know its a lot of stuff to go over but its the only way i can explain it

Linking changes log-in information to Guild Wars 2 information, when working correctly. There have been some issues with linking. You will have to contact the CS Team for assistance. Be aware, it may be some time before this issue is addressed (as it involves GW1) and that all HoM rewards are disabled at this time.

Edit: You might consider removing the string of numbers/characters just in case that is your Serial Key.

thanks lol but i didnt use the real numbers i just used whatever for examples
like my thing isnt “Guild.1234” lol

and I did send a email to support, but i dont even know how to check like gw1 you could check and see but nothing for gw2

An email? Or you used the web-form accessed through the links above/below? If you just sent an email, you will get a reply requesting you use the web-form before any action can take place.

You should receive an automated reply, ‘Thanks for your request…’. Other than that, it may be weeks…

As noted above, the rewards are disabled at this time, anyway, so you would not be able to acquire anything right now.

This is what the Patch Notes state:

Bug Fixes:

Fixed client crashes.
Fixed a client crash that occurred when attempting to enter the Hall of Monuments. Hall of Monuments rewards are temporarily disabled.

If HoM APs are considered a reward, then yes…if not, then no.
