Post your crash log, the picture the error states OOM – Out Of Memory, which is a common bug in this game for some users depending on your setup etc.

I’ve had that a few times in the past. Doing a repair on the dat file seemed to sort out the problem for me. You can do this by putting the ‘-repair’ command line switch behind the target in your shortcut.

What I’ve done to simplify the process for myself, for any future repairs I need to do, is as follows (Assuming you installed your game originally from DVD and have a shortcut to your game .exe on your desktop):

  • Duplicate your existing GW2 Shortcut (Copy/Paste it onto Desktop)
  • Rename the second shortcut to something like “Guild Wars 2 Repair”
  • Right-Click the new shortcut, select “Properties”
  • On the ‘Shortcut’ tab, in the ‘Target’ field, add -repair to the end of the target, AFTER the quote mark. It should look now look something like this: “D:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -repair
  • Note: The above target location is my path, yours may look slightly different, the main thing is that the -repair option sits outside the " " quote marks.
  • Click OK, and you’re done!

Now whenever you need to do a repair on your GW2 DAT file, just use the new Repair shortcut. Your original GW2 shortcut is unchanged and can be used for launching the game normally.

Hope this helps!
