Latest nvidia beta driver 306.xx

Random times even when not in combat, my gw2 freezes for 3 seconds and resumes gameplay. when the game resumes it feels like im at 2fps and stutters like crazy unplayable. I then have to go to my Precision X to reenable my Voltage to 1.175 and increase the clock speed again in order for the stuttering to go away and become playable. This doesn’t happen when i play any other games i’ve tried downclocking my core clock to 150 but same thing happens.

Try running your cpu to default values. Have your tried running Prime95 and passed it ?

i’ve passed 9 hours of prime on my 4.4ghz 1.275v.

Its also the video card that’s having the settings downclocked but the game doesn’t totally crash it just freezes.

I’ve ran Heaven to find my max boost and stable clock and when the card is unstable is usually says device removed. but when my gw2 freezes it doesn’t say anything my GPU usage is 100% and max temp never goes above 68

Have you tried running everything on stock (GPU/CPU)? or limit your frames to 60fps ingame?

guess ill try frame limiter but i think it might be problem w/ the beta drivers =\

I’m using 306.20 for both my laptop and desktop so far it only blackscreened on my desktop (1x so far). Afaik the best drivers I found working fine are 295.73, 296.10 and 304.7x and 306.20. Do a clean install btw when checking with the drivers.

i have a feeling they’re going to release the official right before borderlands 2 gets released but so far so good by just changing frame limiter to 60
