HD5770 (7-20 fps)
I have a 6450 and I get about 5fps, and with each lovely new optimisation patch it’s slowly creeped lower, though the controls now feel less sluggish. And my cpu is not on full load either. Basically, I would have done better off burning the money I spent to buy this game, it would have done more for me.
The 5770 is low end nowdays. Even my HD5850 struggles with this game. Don’t be expecting to much from you gpu.
GTX 6GB Titan@1160Mhz

I ran Alan Wake on max settings better than I run this game on lowest
Alan Wake does not have hundrouds of other players to render all shooting/doing stuff with thousands of calculations every second. In no way shape or form should Alan Wake be compared to GW2.

Fine with me;
How bout’ Star Wars Old Republic on max settings with 80fps+?
I’m not expert but if a 1000$ best GPU on the market ATM can run this game on max with 50fps at lowest, I’d say bad optimization…
its funny to hear off this guys, saying:
bla bla bla, GW 2 its a MMO game, ur graphics card is low end, 5 – 10 FPS its normal, bla bla bla
hahahahahahaha
maybe METRO 2033 on 1080p 4xaa/16xaf do 10FPS on a HD 5770 its normal
i see with my on eyes guys playing GW2 with 40 FPS on a HD 4870 and a 60 FPS on a HD 4890, AND do 15 FPS on a GTX 680/70 and HD 6970
guild wars 2 just SUCKS A LOT on optimization
i dont recommend ANYONE buy this game at this moment
My wife has an HD 5770 runs fine on Medium settings, low shadows at 1920×1200. She has an i5 760/4gb ram. PvE is always above 20-30fps (frame limited to 30) depending on situations. WvW varies from 15-30fps. I’ve heard no complaints.
In Catalyst Control Center confirm AA and AF are application controlled (turned off), I know the 5770 cannot handle that. Also, make sure the fan on the card is clean, it will clock down if it is not cooling properly due to too much dust.

I have an i7 processor, and an HD 6970 with 8 GB ram. I run the game on max settings and get 50+ fps in pve, wvw, and pvp. If you have an HD 6970 and you’re only getting 15 fps, you are doing something seriously wrong. They must have like 2GB of ram or some really bad processor choking up the card.
I have the same exact problem and I have the 570. I cannot play the game anymore because of it. I have 16gigs of ram and I7 Processor and I don’t get over 30 fps and thats on a GOOD day. I hope this is fixed too because this is my favorite MMO right now. I run games like BF3 with Ultra settings at 50-60 fps and I actaully lag in GW2 on lowest settings.
