Guild Wars 2

Well i didn’t play GW2 for a while then i cant connect so i get my password changed then i login to a different instance it was a French instance and i can’t do anything Because i am not french so this is really ruining my game experience. And im not paying over 20 pounds to change my instance because i got hacked. i was originally on the instance blacktide

By the looks of this you are indeed hacked. If I udnerstand it right you got your account back without needing support. Wich indicates the system works.

It explains really good how it was possible you got hacked and gives some good tips how to prevent this in the future.

Then the server (instance is a different term used for something else). I advice you to report the hack by filing a supportticket here: https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ (click ask a question). Explain you prolly got hacked during a prolonged absense and that you already have your account back, but you are in the wrong server/world.
I dont know what the possibility’s are or what the outcome will be.

Please understand it can take up to 72 hours before you get a reply. Till then, you can always ‘guest’ on blacktide wich is free. What you do is:
login and go to the character select screen
go to world selection
Select blacktide in the list and then press the button guest. Select your character and you will on blacktide. Keep in mind you cannot enter WvWvW, and you have no access to e.g. a guildbank.
