Hello and thanks for reading my post!

My account was recently terminated because of real-life money trading or something like that. I have of course not been involved in anything of the sort but I fear someone else might have who has hacked my account (I’ve been key logged before when playing other mmo-rpg). I spoke with a friend who plays on my server and he said I had been online without answering him the same day I noticed my account had been terminated.

I’ve been trying to get help through a ticket but several days have passed before I got a reply and then they just wanted more information. It’s frustrating not being able to play and I want to know what is going to happen to my account. Can this be fixed? Will I be able to start playing again? Must I create another account? Can I use my serial code?

I am still being kept in the dark and I would love some answers. Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

From the sounds of it, both your e-mail account and your GW account has been compromised.

This is the probable scenario that occurred: E-mail account was compromised, and when the login verification request was made, it was confirmed by the unauthorized party. From there they used your account to spam real money trading adverts.

You received reports that ultimately lead to your accounts suspension.

The same thing happend to me m8, all we can do is wait and see i have also created a support ticket were in the same boat i guess update me please if u get any reply from the arena net team i would also love the get back to playing especially with the haloween event on

It’s just as you said MicDeath. I just got an email where I was needed to authorize a log-in attempt from:

City: Dandong
Region: 19
Country: CN

I hope you changed your e-mail’s password already.
A good rule of thumb is to never use your e-mails password anywhere else.
Also to change it every now and then.
