One advice to every one in this game: I’ve NEVER been hacked in any other games i played, and i’m a veteran player of mmo’s.
In this game, i got hacked not ONCE but TWICE.

At the first time, support restored my itens and gold, but, at the second time that i got hacked, i got this response:

“As previously stated, we cannot perform a second restoration. The reason is because it will negative impact the economy of the game.”

Now, i payed for the game, played the game, and now i have to quit the game because of the lack of security that this company offers to custommers.

How can i still playing this game, work to get money and itens again and be hacked for the third time ina few weeks?

The funny thing is that the company can’t even defend itself and players from hacks, but is careful about the “impact in the economy of the game”.

Thanks Arenanet, the WORST custommers service that i ever saw.

Ever thought that the fault maybe was on your side?
If Anet couldn´t defend their players from being hacked we would see these forums flooded by posts about it.

Why weren’t all the others who are playing hacked also? Why aren’t there a flood of posts about this?

Just gotta say that if you’ve been hacked multiple times, it’d not the company nor the game’s fault but your own. Yours. And maybe the hackers’…

Regardless, if you claim that this is the first time you’ve been hacked then maybe think through what you did differently. Don’t sit there blaming the game and the company, and especially don’t blame CS for what is not even a part of their job.

To some of the posters above:

Have a look at some of the recent posts. Players ARE being hacked, some multiple times, OPEN YOUR EYES – there is a hacker war going on. Just because you have not been hacked atm, does not mean you wont be.

I am sorry, but I do blame Anet for some of the security issues as it has more holes than a sieve.

I have followed the advice in the above link and have never been hacked. My friends have also considered the advice in the above article and never been hacked.

It’s a shame that you and others have had your accounts compromised but your own security practices are out of ANet’s control. It’s up to you to keep your passwords and computers safe.

But it’s clear, as others have pointed out, that this is not an issue with ArenaNet security (or we would have hundreds or thousands of tickets and threads). This truly is issue with your personal security.
