Has even 1 persons account who has been banned for no good reason been fixed yet? Just curious? I see nothing but posts here about hacked banned accounts and nothing but auto responses from Arena Net. Is ArenaNet on vacation? What is really being done to fix the accounts that were banned in error.
I see a lot of chargebacks in Arena Net’s future

Im thinking of just doing a charge back and then buying the game again with the money from the chargeback. Being an accountant, i can tell you that all the chargebacks they are going to get from unhappy customers will be an accounting nightmare.
That would be a hassle but still better than waiting a week for an automated response from support that doesnt do anything.

You shouldn’t reward their crap customer service by rebuying the game. There’s plenty of other games out there to play right now than accept this and go out of your way.
I’m personally just going to go out and buy Madden tomorrow and get a chargeback if they don’t get this fixed by today. I’m at 5+ days and counting and I JUST got my automated response today that had me reset my password… Which is pointless, since my problem was never my account password. It was the fact that they banned the account.

Hahaha…Same thing here 72 hours and i get an automated reply to change my password…So I did anyways and still banned… replied to there email and got same automated message back…Good God!!!!

Might be a good idea to start spreading the word through social media about their customer service. Make sure others don’t go through what we have.

just sucks cause I was really enjoying the game..Never had this happen an Ive played dozens of MMO’s since Everquest…Guess i dont understand that if its so easy to Ban an account why is it so hard to unban it?

Yup, I’ve played almost a dozen MMO’s, not a single one of them have had such horrible customer service. I had a buddy who got his account hacked when this happened to Rift. He was back playing within hours of calling…
These people know their customer service is so bad that they don’t even put up a customer service phone number.

Don’t worry. Your ban is taking so long to overturn since it took so much effort to ban it. That’s why they need the full 72 hours.

The release date was August 28th, so it hasn’t been that long.

It’s normally 60-90 days, but if you explain the situation and they might use the Aug. 28th date since the product wasn’t usable until then.
