Guild Wars 2

I just purchased the digital download game today, it downloads up till 4% and then stops downloading. Upon restarting the download, it has reset completely to 0%. I have taken every step to ensure that the download should go through. There is not a connection issue. I have disabled anti-virus software to prevent it from interefering with the download. Please help.

yeah same problem here except ive had the game since release and i had it installed but this new update wont update. It freezes my pc and all kinds off bull crap but yet it works fine on my much less powerful laptop lol

I have just purchased this game, and have had this problem.

Now this problem has clearly been going on for a number of months, if not more. Evident in the number of complaints and reports on these forums.

Yet there are NO solutions offered by your company?

Honestly?

If I open the launcher, it begins downloading FINE. Max Speed,

Then it suddenly comes to a halt (0KB/sec)

Stays there for about 5 minutes, then resumes.

Temporary Fix: Close launcher and reopen.

This indeed does work, however I do not wish to sit here and reopen the launcher every 20mb.

I have no issues with my firewall, everything has been disabled, and everything else has worked on this computer.

It is not my router, as I have successfully downloaded this on my MacBook Pro, and it went fine. However, I hate my MacBook right now, for how terribly it plays your game, and would like to enjoy it on a real computer.

Please help
