Guild Wars 2

First time I got the loading screen and the game crashed. Second time I get this:

InstanceCreate failed. Error=1036; Product=9; Module=18; Line=624

Have you tried again?

Have you tried logging out of the game, completely, and logging back in?

Have you tried a -repair of the client? Instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Search – Repair’.

If none of the things that Inculpatus suggested work, I’d encourage you to open a support ticket — the forums are mostly player-to-player support, and if that’s a persistent issue, it’s something anet technical support are best placed to help you understand and resolve.

I will note that … trips my sysadmin “error matching” brain, so I think maybe I hit something similar when there was an upgrade, and it couldn’t start a new instance with an old client, or something?

Update: Was able to get in and complete it today. Not sure what happened the time before, but this is a non-issue.
