Recently I been having huge lags… in wvw I have huge skill lags I mean blinking skills and I run away only to find im still in hit zone…I use tower,keep gate portal I see the lag.. in spvp I see people and myself teleporting… I never have any lags in Gw2 since launch.. only minor skill lag… I think recent patch has error that caused the lag.. I see on forums people getting it too.. I did these still the same > -repair, scan for virus , malware, reinstall gw2, reset modem, change internet cables, delete local.dat, registry scan.. guys pls offer some help.. This can help me and others with same issues..

First of all, let’s see how your connection holds up. When you are on a WVW server or PvP server, type in /ip in the chat. This will give you the IP Address of that server.

Next, in Windows, go to “Start” then type in “cmd” and hit enter. At the command prompt, type in “pathping IPADDRESS” and post the results.

how does it work? > pathping x.×.×.x:0 ? or pathping x.×.×.x ? second one gives 30 hopcount.

It should just be pathping x.×.×.x

It may take a bit, because it will return statistics about the hops.

does it reveal personal information?

About all it will show would be the IP address you are coming from. You can easily edit line 1-3 out (your system, router, first IP address on your ISP).
