Recently a friend of mine received a Heroic Chest through the mail, which contained the Mithril Box, 10 exp boosters and a choice of the Legacy armors, from Arena.net. He bought the game quite long ago, near the beginning of this year. However, I have read on the forums that past buyers do not get the bonuses of the Heroic Edition. Was that changed?

Okay…if you read here and there in the forums, and in-game, several people say they have received the Heroic chest for no reason. I thought you were aware of it. It’s been going on since the new edition released.

Are you sure he didn’t update his account to the Heroic Version recently? (you CAN do that if you want those freebie items). I don’t recall that version even being available back at the beginning of the year….I recall it came out just before the 1st year anniversary in August (but I could be wrong).

Hi I have bought GW2 game when the pre launch! i bought the Digital Delux Version.. I would like to know since i purchased a year back on the pre launch and i didnt get the "Suit of Legacy Armor, Mithril Box, 10 Experience Boosters " is there any way that i can get them? i am playing Guild Wars for past 6years from the old GW1. I thought if there is a change of getting them it would be appriciatable. Looking forward

The Heroic Edition is an extra, it’s not part of the pre launch Digital Deluxe. If you want it you will need to buy it.

You can get the armor and the boosters in the Gem Store, and inventory boxes on the TP. If you exchange gold for gems, you can get them at no additional cost to you.

Thats not fair coz i paid the same amout when i bought for $50 buy in gemstore is diffrent sice u have to pay it its not Free

I have the heroic edition and i got it last Christmas and it says I should be getting the heroic chest on the back of it but I haven’t gotten it yet whats wrong with it and how do I fix it
