here’s what my setup looks like:

Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @2.50 GHz
memory: 2x 4GB
Graphics: Nvidia GTS 250
and my monitor is running on 1440X900

I get around 20 fps sometimes even lower, tried using the settings on the “FPS and Performance based issues” post and it didn’t improve much. Is my PC too old for this GW2? what’s a cost-efficient hardware i can invest in for gaming?(based on what I have right now) I’m also trying to get black ops 2 to run on this btw.

Turn down graphic settings, overclock your CPU like i did with my Q6600, or buy a new faster processor.

GW2 is very CPU-bound, read this thread to understand more. starting with Q4.

Overclock your cpu and update your graphics card. Make sure you watch your temps if you overclock and if they get to high you might need a better cooler.
