Hey,

When i connected to the game today, i got this email titled “LOR-748 title issuing Error”
saying my Guild Wars 1 title of “God walking among mmre mortals” being revoked!

is this something in game or what? Whats going on with this?

Some months back there was a bug where if a person made a char on a particular day, his account got a number of Hall of Monuments titles, achievement points for them and any achievement chests that from the extra points. ANet had to make the tools to remove titles and achievement points from accounts and the bug fix went through with the last update. Apparently you were one of the people who got the titles and achievement points and the notice is an ingame way to tell you they were removed.

the title is gone and my HoM achievments in GW2 are gone, so i dont think this is scam email…

edit: you actually had them and they are gone and switching chars doesn’t bring them back?

Try logging into Guild Wars 1, speaking to Kimmes, switching from account to character rewards then logging back in.

so how doi fix it?

If you played GW1 and earned the achievements and the points/titles you earned are gone you need to contact support.

When I made a new character it said my points/titles were taken away, but when I logged back into an older character they were there again (and still there when I went back to the new character).

If you got the titles/points via the bug then you do nothing as you didn’t earn them and so they were taken away.

Yeah. There was another thread where the titles disappeared, reappeared then disappeared again, so don’t be surprised if they are gone again with the next login/character switch. you can always report this in the thread, Issues with 7-28 build.

To fix this, go to the Hall of Monuments reward calculator site and enter in on of your character names.

Hi, I’m having the same issue. I purchased HoT yesterday after the Fractals announcement, I linked my accounts, and I made a new character with the new slot I purchased.

As soon as I logged in, all my HoM achievements were gone and I received the GM letter saying that I got them accidentally.

This is obnoxious, especially because I no longer have GW1 installed on my computer. Please fix ANET.

I just happened that right now, I’ve lost all my points of achievements, funny thing is that before the game client put me in black screen, and then when I came back, I received this message, now I’m trying to download the game client from gw1 and not download anything, Are the broken servers?

Check my points on Calculator hall of monuments, and appears to have 50/50, what’s going on? What am I supposed to do now? Have I lost you forever?

A while back there was a game exploit that allowed people to get max title without completing anything in GW1 so Anet had to turn off HoM system till they had the time to fix it. I think it’s been fixed but to get your points back you have to log into GW1 this was part of the fix to prove you had the earned points. If for some reason you can’t get back into GW1 then you will have to submit a support ticket here on this site using the GW2 support system it may take some time to get a responce because they don’t handle GW1 support tickets as a top priority and with all the support issues with HoT don’t expect to get help anytime soon.
