HoT Mastery Point is missing

Nope, the wiki was wrong. Since everyone can edit the wiki, it will not always be right.
Even wiki claims there are total 139 HoT MPs can be obtained. And I summed up is 140. (Yes, I already read wiki before post, and issued ticket for support, they cant help and suggested post here. )
I have 2 friends, they all have total 141 obtainable HoT mastery points. And I also counted completed achievements, the number is also not matched.
Maybe you shall count yours. What is the sum of all spent HoT MPs, unspent and those in incomplete achievements.
As I know in GW2, bugs always happen.

These two achievements reward HoT mastery point which are unlisted in wiki.
Thus my math is not wrong.

So here leads to another problem, did you check the achievement list in Hero panel?
It does shows there is a reward HoT MP which is not.
Another problem is the wiki was wrong as I find the tutorial from Youtube, on completion City of Hope, it does reward HoT mastery points.
Third, even there are total 140 unlockable HoT MPs, I still have friends that can possible get total 141 points from spent, unused and not unlock yet.
There is also on completion of achievement, the MP is not unlocked.
But has Mastery Points more than he should have according to the achievement list regardless this achievement is done.
Thus, I think there might some issues in the mastery system that cause those MPs are not sync with achievement list.

This is not a bug at first, I thought it was just some Mastery Points I didn’t get during some random time, and posted here for a back-end support since those GMs cannot solve this problem when I sent issue. And I cant event see where the bug is.

In the Story Journal listed all the chapters of HoT story. You also can clearly see that there are 5 Mastery Points indicated on the right hand side. And in the achievement list also shows “Predator’s Path” achievement rewards a mastery point.
Don’t you think that is it possible the owner of the youtube video is just simply face the same bug ?
It must have some official announcement clearly describe whether it rewards a MP or not, then you can define if it is a bug.
Everyone can edit the wiki, then by whom to validate its correctness ?
I can’t find where the Story/Achievement lists a particular Mastery Point for Predator’s Path. Can you post a screenshot? I can only see the completion window where Predator’s Path counts toward the 14 ‘tasks’ needed to complete the ‘Heart of Thorns Act II Mastery’, which, of course, awards 1 Mastery Point, once all 14 tasks are complete. (I guess I would need a new account that had never done any Heart of Thorns story, since completion of a story episode is tracked account-wide.)
There’s an API app that shows all the Mastery Points your account has unlocked; maybe that would help. (You can find it on the Wiki page in question.)

I just got confirmed from GM through ticket. In Story Journal, HoT Act 2:
- The Predator’s Path
- City of Hope
These two achievements do reward mastery points. (which means wiki is wrong)
However, there is an known issue on completion with no reward mastery point when party up. They are working on it.
So for those read this post, better see if you have similar situation and fix once they have claimed the issue is solved.
It’s technically 142 mastery points available. You’re forgetting Mayatl in VB.

I might have some not yet unlocked. But I am pretty sure I cant spend any on raid since I havent killed any boss, the track is still locked LOL.
