Hi,
i upgraded to HoT from basic game i bought at release. Since I had a long break, I would like to transfer to Piken Square server to play with a friend. I read that f2p accounts get free transfer upon upgrading to HoT, but i didn’t get any. Still asks me for gems. Can you help me pls?

Only players that upgrade from F2P to HoT get a free transfer. As you upgraded from a core account you bought at release you are not eligible for the free transfer. You have two options.

1. Delete all your characters that will allow you to transfer for free.
2. Buy gems to pay for a transfer.

One note, even if you choose one of the above options if the server is full you still won’t be able to transfer until space becomes available.

Finally, you can still play with your friend aside from WvW as long as you are in the same region, EU or NA. Mega servers allow players to join friends on different servers in every game mode but WvW as long as they are in the same region.

Using the in-game Bug Report option will garner no response, as indicated on the Bug Report window.

The reason f2p accounts get a free transfer when they upgrade us because when the f2p account is created they do not get to choose a home server.
