Hey folks,

I haven’t played for a long time. I don’t know my password, I had it auto-pop when I logged into the main website.

Anyway, when I try to change my password, it asks for my e-mail address. No problem. It then asks for my serial code which I apparently received in an e-mail when I purchased at the game’s release. I’m sure this was deleted years ago. It also asks for the name of a game character. Hell, it’s been years, I don’t remember.

Am I screwed? This seems like a crazy level of security to change a password…I mean, when I logged into the website, it already sent me a confirmation code to my cell phone that I had to enter. How paranoid are these guys??

Well, think of it this way:

If someone guessed your email correctly and were trying to get in, how easy do you want it to be for them get the password changed to something they know?

As for your situation, you’ll have to contact Support to do so. Hopefully you’ve still got something that you can use to show that you do own the game (like the credit card used to purchase the account).

If you can log into this website, your password must be saved in your browser. Use your browser’s Tools to determine what your saved password is, and use it to log into the game.
