It allows me just to select remind me later and i wish to get rid from my eyes this offer regarding very bad and poor experiences with such rubbish SMS security from other games!

First of all SMS was never designed for serious information sending! Saying it as technical person. SMS messages could deliver day or weeks later and etc… This all protocol is only for entertainment and not important data sending.

Once i already used SMS authorization on another game, on battle.net account. In begin it worked some time, but later up to today I have big troubles with it as their SMS today never delivers while i activating to send it. So i afraid that the same could happen here and i even won’t consider such security option as i already experiences troubles with it. Much better an e-mail authorization!

Eg. today blizzard support asks me to send eg. private, very important personal data, like scanned my passport to remove that phone number which i still using as via not related to me technical issues i am unable to receive SMS… I don’t know why it not working, maybe my mobile provider, maybe issues with international mobile providers, but i don’t suggest to anyone to risk. Except you’re from the same country as Arena.net…

Just good to not see this offer anymore again!

Lol, just tested it on battle.net and this time it worked. So removed their SMS protect from my battle.net account. I don’t trust such security option as i had big troubles with it, as such thing as sending scanned passports to someone, even to blizzard is even unconsiderable…

And you offer it as some mandatory as we even have no option to disable this offer. Not in all cases from far away from America countries it working well and now you force every user to choose it as elsewhere you will annoy them to the death with that offer all the time…

And why i am unable to edit my previous post? As i normally first writing posts, later fixing grammar mistakes, but i don’t see options how to edit it…

You should see a little pencil in the lower right.

You can opt for other forms of authentication, rather than the SMS one. Or, you can bypass the log-in screen using command line arguments. (Search in Wiki via link above.)
