On 64 bit win 7 with 8G ram, I found gw consistently running with 1.8- 1.9G memory and a lot of dynamic loading textures happening.

How to enable LAA in GW2.exe so it will consume more memory?

From what I’ve read, GW2 is already LAA but try adding /LARGEADDRESSAWARE at the end of the “path/to/Gw2.exe”.

I tried it myself, didn’t notice any difference.

It’s already enabled…There arent many games that use 2gb or more anyway.

The problem is that it seems doing a lot of recycling work and even things like “map” if you press M a few times it clearly unload all the textures and loaded again!

There’s like 5g ram sitting there not being used! Maybe they added LAA flag but forget to tune their memory pool settings to go beyond 2G!
