i got the game on Last Friday, I keep getting dc sometimes i go for 1hr without dc other time no more then 2-5min in-game this is the 1st time this happens to while playing on mmo i play Aion, and Vindictus n i dnt get dc form those games. can any1 help me find the problem or fix it?

Sorry to tell you, but it’s a bad time for starting this game. Around 1.5 weeks ago, something started to go terribly wrong with all games of NCSoft, the publisher of GW2. Since then, a lot of people have had problems with the game, like getting their characters stuck and getting disconnected every time they try to log in, or getting a lot of disconnects in general. What helped me was using a VPN. My VPN of choice was PingZapper(www.pingzapper.com). I don’t know if that is the best or even a remotely good VPN, but it helps me stay in the game(haven’t had a single disconnect since I installed it).

There are a number of reason you are DCing one common on is something running in the background that needs the internet. Shut down all apps that require internet and see if the problem goes away Skype and iTunes are some of the biggest problems with gaming also weatherbug.
Are you playing over WiFi try running a cable from your router to you PC see is that fixes it to.
