Guild Wars 2

I’ve recently installed new Windows on my PC and I didnt uninstall the game -
I was shocked when I realized that game is working properly and that I dont need to download and install it again (which will take almost a full day)
But since I’d done that – My game is not in windows registry and game programs like Xfire cant recognize it while Im playing it -

Any1 have some clue how to registry gw2?

I was always under the impression that GW2 doesn’t actually install. It’s more of a portable game file setup.

Is there no way to custom add a game to Xfire?

• Copy / rename the GW2.DAT file (note this think is 18 GB so copying could be time consuming….note it’s too big to put on a standard USB drive).
• Re-install the GW2 client and when the launcher starts downloading the DAT file, stop the client.
• Copy the GW2.DAT over the one that started installing (incomplete one).
• Start the client and all should be good.
