How well will this laptop work for GW2?
I would say a combination of low and medium..until Haswell comes out Intel doesn’t have anything on discrete graphics lol

Medium? Forget about it. More likely “ultra low details” and even then it will be like:
“Looks good. Wait, second frame is coming up. Yes, looks still good.”
You need at LEAST an Nvidia GPU from the 5. or 6. generation (5xx, 6xx) and second digit either 7 or 8. For AMD GPUs its the same, but either 7xxx or 8xxx and second digit either 8 or 9.
Everything below that (especially integrated GPUs) don’t come even close to the requirements.
Medium at max, more likely a mixture of low and medium. U’ll be using the onboard video chip which is intergrated with the CPU. its not really meant for gaming to be honest.
For GW2 set to High (not max), u would need atleast a 670m GPU, and to ‘reduce’ CPU bottlenecking u would want atleast a 3630QM CPU or higher.
Both of which substantialy increase the cost of the laptop.

Agreed! I am running 30 FPS with my setup. Unless you have a lot of money to spend on a laptop stay away from them for gaming. They just are not worth the price you pay to play graphical games. You are better off with a desktop with a independent graphics cards, not an onboard graphics card.
Always up wind from my prey. I want them to smell my farts!
