Q:
How would this run GW2?
GT 630 is a very, very low end video card. Probably because of the PSU. According to Thermaltake it’s 500 watts peak/400 watts continuous.

Edit: Oh yes, due to the video card is won’t be either a high setting or high frame rate experience.

That machine will struggle with Guild Wars 2.
Intel 520 120GB + 240GB / 2 x WD Caviar Black 1TB (RAID 0) / Corsair AX1200 / ASUS VG278H
Windows 8.1 Pro x64 / ASUS Xonar Essence STX / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech Z-5500
High end computers don’t really matter with GW2, the game runs pretty badly on any system because of the way the engine works. I have the best components on the market and still have FPS “lag”.

Its prebuilt so they will have cut some corners.
The PSU for example, and the Micro ATX B75 motherboard. and the slower 1333mhz RAM.
The CPU however is ‘ok’.
The GPU though isnt gaming class. You want a 650ti atleast.
In all honesty u can build a rig urself with a MUCH better GPU for $800. Stretch to $1000 and aself built rig will be a much more on the level gaming computer.
So in response. it will’run; GW2, how it ‘plays’ will totaly depend on how low ur willing to go on the settings.

Update the Ram to at least CL9 1600Mhz, A 650 or better (Or an ATI HD9770~), and aim for a 800W PSU.
But aside from that, GW2 isnt written properly. So even the best systems struggle with it.
IMHO, Build a system ‘good Enough’ and save on the cash. until AreaNet gets the code fixed and optimized correctly. UNLESS you are playing other games or running other applications that can benefit from the new build.

800w is way overkill for a i5 and a single GPU. 650w is enough, infact even 650w is overkill, but its a good middleground.

800W for future upgrades. When building a system there are 2 things to consider, the Now and the 1-2 years from now. And nothing but a PSU normally stays in a system through 2-3 upgrades down the road.

With video cards peaking at 250-300 watts and CPUs using fewer and fewer watts, unless you’re AMD ( :p ), 800 watts is only for those looking to double up their video cards.
You know what, SLi and CrossfireX aren’t as prevalent among games as the nVidia, AMD or gaming sites portray.
