I am being hacked right now!
This is what i’m scared of happening to me right now, just posted that my Mobile Authenticator is somehow disabled overnight and I can’t figure out how/why. Luckily I dont have my CC information saved so I really feel for you right now on this. Still doesn’t mean that I don’t want my characters deleted and everything I have to disappear.
CA , US (173.245.77.74)
This guy is on my accont atm. One of my caracters are nude alredy.
Its not nice to get hackt when I cant do anything about it.
Here are 3 IPs I’m not familiar with doing the same thing…
07 , CN ( 110.90.96.87 )
192.74.227.2
192.161.53.163
I did an IP search online…one of them is in China and another is in NY. /sigh
Submitting multiple tickets slows the process down. You may have hurt yourself if you submitted multiple tickets. Also, you should make a support ticket and not an in-game ticket. Support tickets are made here, click on Ask A Question: https://en.support.guildwars2.com/
I was not able to get in the game and so my ticket(s) were through the Ask A Question portion of the web page. I was finally able to get into the game and all my gold and armor is gone and I’m on a different server. /sad face
Why is there a “Disconnect” button if nothing happens when i click it. All that comes up is:
<Error code="48" module="3" line="996" text="JsEngine: controller (ws_login_disconnect) not an object, /ws/account/security/disconnect"/>The account rollback feature is in place now so as your ticket gets resolved your account can be restored to what it was before you got hacked, you will first have to go through support and beef up your personal security somehow.
Someone is using my account…I can’t log in. I can get to the character selection screen, but it doesn’t let me go any further. Just noticed they stripped my characters, transferred my account to a Euro server and NOBODY is responding to my tickets. I fear my credit card info is being used from the market place…I’m a complete wreck.
We locked down this account and will respond via your ticket. (I suggest if you submitted multiple tickets, you close out the newer ones and stick with the oldest of those you sent in.)

My account is being hacked by CA , US (205.164.10.57)
Please do something to stop this
I’ve already got a long running ticket and just want to play the game on my ‘original’ server and with the items I originally had before the hack. However, I still have IP’s that I have NEVER personally authorized such as:
07 , CN ( 110.90.96.87 )
192.74.227.2
192.161.53.163
I am confused as to how they have gained access. However, one thing at a time. I just want to be able to play and I refuse to play on a different server and ‘naked’ to boot.
They have account restoration feature since December. So you might get it back.
Check if your mail was compromised. Often that’s the way the hackers get in. Follow the security advices that is available on this site or via support.
For anyone reading this that might be curious:
I could be wrong, but I don’t think the hackers are in the habit of using your credit card info at the gem store. This would constitute bank fraud and would (presumably) make them easier to find and prosecute. I doubt the justice system cares too much about hacked GW2 accounts, but they’ll likely throw down if there’s real money involved. I lost access to my account for ~14 hours last week, but they didn’t spend a red cent in the gem store. I was actually kind of surprised they didn’t just empty my bank account, but I’m sure they have their reasons.

Arkanfel…
I was thankful that the culprit did not use my credit card info. I immediately deleted the information as soon as I was able to log in. So, it it good to know there are additional measures for individuals who do this.
However, I did buy gems and converted them for gold and all was lost, as well as, the armor I made with my gold. I would be very disheartened if I was not able to get those things back considering the ‘real’ money I used to obtain those items and extra gold I had on each of my characters.

I feel ya. I dropped $70 in the gem store to re-gear my guardian when I regained access. A couple days later (natch) they announced account rollbacks. I asked for one, and have now been sitting on my hands for going on five days.
What really makes me angry about this is I got great support when it came to getting my access restored, but now I’ve been left hanging at a crucial point in the process. I can login to my account, but that doesn’t really do me any good if I have an account restore request in the pipeline and any progress I make will be wiped. They’ve already done the research and verified that my account was hacked, but I haven’t heard anything new since Wednesday night. All someone needs to do is look at my ticket and press a freaking button. I understand that ANet probably has a lot on their plate, but it shouldn’t be taking this long to get around to something that will probably only take a few minutes/seconds.
If you ask me, they need to make rollbacks part of the account restoration process. I can’t figure out what sense it makes to say “yeah we’ll give you your account back, but I hope you don’t mind not using it for a week.” If it weren’t for me having lost six divinity runes on my ele, I’d update my ticket and say “you know what? Just forget it.”

Well…got the e-mail last night approving the rollback based on my ok…which I promptly gave. However, still waiting for them to do it. So close and yet it feels so far away.
