It seems that i cant delete a character to free some space.I have some characters lvl 2 that i use only for pvp and i cant delete them

Same here. Just tried to delete a lvl 11 Warrior I’m not going to use and I can’t delete it. I write down the name, click “Delete” and nothing happens.

When Deleting a character , you must also type out the character name exactly when prompted as-well

I too can’t delete any characters. And yes I am typing their name in exactly and clicking “Delete” in the prompt after doing so. The window clears like it has accepted my input, however no deletions occur.

I’m having the same problem, but also I can’t create any new characters. It keeps saying to check my internet connection, but the connection is fine. I can play as my other characters no problem, just wont delete or make new one

Well at least we know it’s not our internet, like it never is of course. I can’t delete any charcters either. guess patience is a virtue after all.

Patience? Hah. I think they migh be testing that at this point. It’s really getting aggrivating. I wanted to create a Mesmer to see how that class plays, but I can’t even create. Just says check the internet connection >P

@LadyChaosjbm I love my mesmer. They play like a magical thief class, technical but very effective. If you’re into that, you’ll like it.

In other news, have they fixed it yet? I’m ready to destroy this engineer already and make a new class

I dont think they’ve fixed it yet, cause now I cant even log in

I can log in to the character select screen still but getting into the game is another thing. Go figure on my day off…

Right? I wonder why this is happening? I didnt see anything on server matenance.

Yes, I successfully deleted the target character now, issue seems to be resolved.

I want to follow up in case this is still an issue.

It’s been over a week now, but yes it seems to be solved. I remember the next day I could delete my characater and then create a new one without any issue.
