hello all..since last night i cant start the game..when i click on game icon..screen become black and flickering..i reinstalled game,new nvidia drivers..old drivers..guru drivers and still not working..i dont know how to fix thix..any idea?

GPU or PSU could be dying. You can stress test it to confirm with programs like furmarks or something.

well i have problems only with gw2 the rest of the games work just fine with no problems

Its probably software issue then. Tried fiddling with the nvidia 3D setting profiles ?

i have the same problem too i click on play icon..screen become black and flickering
installed latest profile and amd drivers ( even tried the beta) nothing is working.Its after i dled the new patch for the game. Radeon Hd 6850

and i managed somehow to start game..i edited nvidia contrrol panel.turn off dual gpu antialising and some stuff more..i managed to log on and play normaly..but when i loged out..after a minute again same problem..flickering black screen..i just guess its not problem with my hardware..i think its lates patch!

Same problem here. Click play and screen goes black. Been having this issue for awhile. Sometimes I can login normally but most of the time I get black screen. The only way to restart launcher is to reset my PC.
Deleting local.dat, running a repair and other proposed solutions don’t work.

I just wanted to jump in here and ask, anyone with this issue, do you set your resolution higher then your screen allows? I know this was a walk around for the FoV issues and a lot of people did this (Like myself) If there is an update you have to reset your resolution to native and then launch the game, after it has update and you are in go ahead and change it back.
