This is very frustrating. I spent $60 on a game that I have been banned from for doing NOTHING wrong. It has been 3 days and not even a word from support. There are so many people complaining about being wrongfully banned it is ridiculous. I have played countless MMO’s in the past and have NEVER witnessed anything like this… still waiting for an update on my ticket….

I’m basically 100% sure that my account has never been attempted to be hacked either… Just logged on the other day in the same place i logged out with all my items, started playing, and BAM! banned

This has got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a game! My account has been terminated due to no fault of my own. I’ve sent in a ticket to try and play a game that I purchased and still haven’t heard a kitten thing!! This is totally unacceptable! My time is very limited as I can only play during the weekends, and with no phone number to call to try and resolve issues involving my account and try to get some playing time in, what am I suppose to do?!?

It seems some people have immediate responses with customer service, while with some it takes forever. I’m not sure about your situation, Biggie, but I know with mine it seems like it is insanely easy to fix. I have NEVER sold gold or bought gold with real currency and yet I was still banned. My account has never been compromised or hacked so it should be easy… I don’t get it :/

I have been terminated 3 days and i know how Biggie feel, i never had problems before in any online or mmo game GW2 is the first game in almost 10 years that gets me banned.i don’t know how they judge people sell gold or not,but i only had 2G and now i lose my accout

Lmao. There are thousands of players being banned unjustly. I have never participated in real world trading. I have maybe 4 gold across all my characters. I am not someone who will spend $ on a video game other than the initial cost. Please stop flaming and don’t come crying here when you get banned for NOTHING

I am also an unfair freeze the accounts of the players, I am Level 35, my money in my backpack, I even have not sent any message, but is frozen because I suspected money transactions, I do not understand on what basis you make this judgment? ?
I hope you can clear up during the title, you do so will only make people sad. If the other players on the malicious complaint, we hope that you will be able to deal with it serious

Same boat as you guys, just got the message also today. They seriously have some process gaps in determining who are legit paying customers vs gold sellers/botters. They will need to revisit this as this is becoming a serious issue.

Same here i got banned for apperently Gold buying or helping in selling my # is 121024-000448 and im 100% sure i didnt do nothing in tht course of action i hope this gets resolved before the event is over so i have some time to enjoy it

I too have just been banned. I’ve never sold or helped sell gold at all. If anything I’ve reported all the emails that got sent to me, even with coin attached and NEVER accepted the coin attached to the mailing.

I feel as if this banned is completely unwarranted and it saddens me. I was super excited to get going on the Halloween party in Tyria!
