So I got hacked two days ago and after a whole day of trying to log back in by resetting my password with anet support and appearently my email also I find all my characters naked. I also find that all my gold but a few copper on each character was gone. All my crafting matts which was full of what i was saving for legendary like charged lodestones, was gone. My firebringer sword i had crafted and was selling was gone off the tradepost. I went and made a support ticket and was told very fast they were looking into it. Later the next day they tell me "After reviewing the game logs, I was unable to determine that the account was accessed by an unauthorized individual. As a result, we will be unable to offer any restorations for this incident. In the future, I suggest that you not share your account information with friends or family.
Please let us know if you need assistance with anything else.
Regards,
The Guild Wars 2 Support Team"
Well first off, I have never shared my information with anyone but thanks for the advice. Yet my account which I created at my house under the same ip address since release being accessed by a different ip address isnt proof enough they say. Nor is that everything I have worked for is no longer there.
What do you guys think? Am i lying? Should they not rollback my account back to the 13th of this month, which is all I am asking. I must be overreacting here because here I thought I thought i was dealing with Arenanet who enjoyed making a strong gaming community who helped those who got hacked, not Blizzard.
