I was full emerged into this game, I’d recently achieved my 77 clovers and gift of mastery and was really happy with my progression towards my twilight, I had nice super weapons which I loved, ascended items and was saving up laurels.

And as of this morning there is NOTHING, My account is pretty much empty.

I hope hackers burn in hell and I also hope Anet has some power to return my items

If not I doubt I’ll play again due to how angry I am about it all right now.

First off all you need to file a support ticket to get full access to your account back and review your pc security.

After you get full control to your account back and have made sure the security breach has been sealed you can ask support to provide a roll back. Read more bout how this works and if this is the solution for you here:

Any questions, just ask. Bottom line is, your not lost forever, there are things to solve this and everything will be ok, it just takes some time.

lol I hope you get your stuff back. That sucks cuz I know how it feels. Ive been hacked as well but luckily Supported helped me …to an extent. Took me 3 months to get everything worked out. If you ask me, support needs their own support. They are so stupid sometimes and refuse to work with the players. 3 months is awefull for a settlement over a hack.

I find a great irony in your screen name.

Now that they have account restoration, you should get everything back. It’s a one time deal though so make sure you tighten up your security. When a friend of mine had her account hacked in Guild Wars 1, it took about a week to get restored. Hopefully, turn around time here will be faster.

Thanks guys, Nothing back from Arena Net yet but I’m remaining positive.

I’ve begun to work on Alts while I wait and was wondering if when my account gets reset if I will loose the lvls i have gained? If anyone knows the answer that would be awesome!

Yes, you will lose everything – everything – you have gained/done since regaining control of your account. An Account Restoration is like a snapshot taken before the compromise, and your game progress is moved back to that snapshot. So everything will be just as it was that day, sometime before the hackers got hold of your account.

I hope you have allready reviewed your personal security. Support will likely not give a rollback unless the breach in security has been sealed. This for the simple reason that if it isnt secure yet, you’ll have the same situation within a week.

Please allow the team time to get to that ticket, review it, kitten it, and respond to you.
