I lose my connection to server no matter of what. I have tested without antivirus, without firewall opening the ports and nothing helps. What could be reason for this to happen. It is getting really annyoing cause I can“t play this game longer than 5-10minutes at time before it loses connection to server. Thank you, please answer fast.

Mine has been doing the same recently. My connection seems stable playing other online games, but this game seems to kick me out every 20 minutes or so and im unable to do anything productive today

Do a tracert to www.guildwars2.com and see what comes up. I can trace my issues to 2 bad routers in line.

So we can compare please open a command prompt [for those on win 7 that don’t know how, go to the start menu > and type cmd in search] after it opens type the following:

cd \users [enter]
tracert www.guildwars2.com > tracerouteoutput.txt [enter]

after the command completes open the file and take a look and post the relevant listings, not the whole file as you don’t want anyone hacking your router/pc’s

in my file I found the following:

10 133 ms 142 ms 229 ms 207.88.14.191.ptr.us.xo.net [207.88.14.191]
11 130 ms 81 ms 25 ms 206.111.0.202.ptr.us.xo.net [206.111.0.202]
16 63 ms 140 ms 134 ms 64.25.32-26.ncsoft.com [64.25.32.26]

If you’re working on something internally that relates to Sept 9, why not make an announcement letting the players know that some may experience connection issues rather than allow us to keep scratching our collective heads while wondering WTF is going on with our game / connection… is it really so hard to be verbal & keep players well informed? IS that really asking too kitten much??
