Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing some major issues with my computer. Apparently, my computer can’t handle Guild Wars 2. I’m having a constant number of <5 FPS. Every attempt to improve this from both my father, who’s job it is to understand computers, and myself were in vain. The computer itself doesn’t have any trouble running it. Our videocard is potentionally more than good enough to run GW, and I have a good internet connection.

A few moments ago my little brother (who often plays the WoW-trial and creates a new account over and over again)told me he was also experiencing major input-lag issues on his WoW-trial. So the reason of my computer failing probably lies within itself. But what can it be? I need help fast!

My specs are:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8800 3.0 GHz
Intern RAM: 4 GB
Video Card: Club3d HD3450 512 MB

Cheers,

Amoledkill

Its your video card. That is too weak to run the game. Its very simple.

If you want to run the game, you’d need to spend as least $50 for a new card.

You can run this game on an older gpu. Given that he has a Core 2 duo, $50 on a gpu would give him minimal playability.

His entire pc is slow. With the worst part being the HD3450. Not a gaming graphics card, not even remotely a gaming graphics card. At this point without upgrading the rest of your pc, you can slap an 8800gt or similar in there will get the game playable. Make sure your power supply can support it.

Actually, the game runs pretty good on an 8800gt/C2D E8400 combo.
